Friends, if you have been diagnosed with myoma, or fibroids, don’t worry at all. Myomas generally don’t require any special treatment unless they cause you harm. Myomas are fleshy tissues that originate from the uterine wall. What happened when your fibroid was discovered? Did you have pain and bleeding or did you discover it by accident? If your fibroid was discovered by accident, you only need to follow up. You will have an ultrasound every six months and one year and check the size of the fibroid. But if your fibroid was discovered because of pain or bleeding, you should first have more tests to check the cause of that pain and bleeding. If there is no cause other than fibroids, then you will think about treating your fibroids. If we want to treat myomas, we have two treatment options. The drug method and the surgical method. Our drug treatment method is either oral or an injection that creates a state similar to menopause. In our surgical method, we either close the vessels or remove the fibroid itself. Now, can fibroids cause infertility? Certainly not always, but sometimes it can be the cause.
